Baroness Morris is the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Jordan, Kuwait and the Palestinian Territories and is also Chair of the Conservative Middle East Council. " 
"Trish Morris is the Deputy Speaker in the House of Lords. Trish entered the House of Lords in June 2004 and joined the Conservative Front Bench as a whip in September of that year. In June 2005 she was appointed Shadow Minister for Children, Young People, Families, and for Women and in October 2006 became principal opposition spokesman for Education & Skills.
"Prior to entering the House of Lords Trish was Vice-Chairman of the Conservative Party with responsibility for candidates and instigated and then oversaw fundamental changes in the selection procedure to increase both the quality and diversity of Parliamentary candidates. She is President of the National Benevolent Institution, and a Trustee of UNICEF UK and The Disability Partnership. Trish is a Governor and Trustee of her old school, Bolton School, a Patron of OXPIP – the Oxford Parent Infant Project, Vice-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Groups for Breast Cancer and Children, and Chair of the Parents and Families Groups. She is Co-Chair of Women in Public Policy and on the Executive Committee of the Association of Governing Bodies of Independent Schools. Trish was a member of the Advisory Committee to the Abbot of Ampleforth from 1998 to 2004, served as Deputy Chairman of the Salford Royal Hospitals NHS Trust, and as a Director of Bolton Lads & Girls Club. She was a member of the Conservative Party’s Social Work Commission."
