Joyner Sims, M.D. is the former State Director of the Tobacco Prevention Program for Florida (1995) and Assistant Health Officer of the State Health Office of Florida (1995).


Dr. Sims received his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Louisiana State University (1973). He was an Associate Research Professor with the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida.
