Shelly Kessler

Shelly Kessler "joined TCC Group in 2000, taking on a number of organizational assessment and strategic planning assignments. She currently leads the firm's nonprofit practice. With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, international development, and consulting, she has had a major role in developing TCC's international practice. During her tenure at the firm, Kessler has led projects for America's Second Harvest, The International Red Cross, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, World Neighbors, and the USO.

"Prior to joining TCC Group, Kessler was Deputy Executive Director of the International Clinical Epidemiology Network (INCLEN, Inc.), an international nonprofit working with medical schools in 24 countries. She joined INCLEN after 11 years in international development, primarily with CARE, the international relief and development organization. She worked on CARE programs in small enterprise development, agriculture and natural resource management, and primary healthcare in Africa, Asia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (formerly the USSR). She went on to become a long-term consultant to UNICEF.

"Kessler received her Bachelor's degree from Brown University and her Master's in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Kessler authored Third World Women in Agriculture: An Annotated Bibliography (The National Council for Research on Women, 1985). She is a former member of the Board of Directors of Carelift International, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing healthcare worldwide." [1]
